Since October 2002 all audio & video files are flash 6 files (SWF files) and require the Flash plug-in. Download and install it to solve the problem.

The uninstall option is not available on Internet Explorer 6.0 or XP because of the media player's deep integration into the operating systems. But, on the Media Bar, you can select "Media Options/Settings/Play web media in the bar" to unselect it.

You have to install the Java Virtual Machine, which Microsoft took out from the XP version of Windows.

You can download it here or directly from MakeMusic web site (demands registration) Remember the system requirements for the SmartMusic Viewer: Windows: 98, ME and XP with Internet Explorer (5.5, SP1 or SP2). Macintosh: OS 8.6 and higher with Internet Explorer (4.5 or 5).
